My Insurance Finally Covers Chiropractic Care!
It feels like I’ve been waiting years to get my health insurance to do anything useful for me. I have one of those types plans where if I need a helicopter ride to the hosptial after a major injury, I’ll be glad to have it.
If I try to do anything preventative or just plain ol’ healthy – well, I’m on my own. Forever I’ve been paying for my health insurance but haven’t had much luck in actually using it. (Of course that hasn’t prevented my rates from going up year after year.)
So today is the day. My plan finally covers me if I want to go see a chiropractor. Believe me, I’ve been wanting to go to a chiropractor for years. It seems like every time I get close, something gets in the way.
Now, going to see a chiropractor isn’t so expensive that I couldn’t afford it if I really needed it. Most I talked to even have payment plans or discounts for people in my situation. Still, I just didn’t want to have to pay extra when I feel pretty good already.
I feel like using my health insurance is for when I’m sick anyway. (Sounds silly when I say it out loud like that.) It’s just paying ten dollars every time I go to get an adjustment is just way better than paying fifty.
I also wonder if I’m missing out some extra treatment just because I can’t afford the “whole enchilada.” Turns out it wasn’t true. My visit went great, insurance is picking up most of it, and I got the same kind of treatment I would have got anyway.
Good stuff. Today is going to be great day. My spine feels better already. Let’s hope I never have to use my insurance for something more serious!

very nice. as i was reading the beginning, my writer's brain started to put the whole problem into a story context. i thought to tell you that if you just look at music like a story you would see it's not as difficult. of course, i know NOTHING about music and leave that to my sons. but i understand the concept and the layering of emotions and expressions.
good stuff, kelly. good stuff.

I think that if you let the brain stagnate, then you rapidly follow it. We only ever use a fraction of what our brain is capable of, and my belief is that you should constantly feed the mind with good positive matter that will enhance your life and also your attitude.
Good stuff in and good stuff out. You can still benefit from self help and personal development well into senior age levels, and indeed some of the most successful people ever, did not achieve their success till later years of their life. So keep reading and learning would be my advice.
just realized i wasn’t following before realizes can u guys follow too? good stuff and good prices.
i don't understand that type of stuff, lmao so, ijust stick to stuff im good at (
This is good stuff, though convicting. The speaker's name is Steve Lawson and he is a pastor in Alabama. He has written some really good stuff and is a great encouragement through his exaltation of Christ and the Gospel. I am hoping to go hear him speak in Charleston WV on January 22-23. If anyone is interested, the conference is free and we could car pool up there and most likely, get free lodging. Let me know!
A COIN HAS TWO SIDES.
Nothing is unfortunate for those who smile to challenges. Nothing is permanent. Men may come men may go. Events come, events go. Nobody is an enemy, neither one is a friend for ever. So long as you win over yourself, good things keep on flowing into you. People are good. Leaves are green.
Good stuff here, John. Personally, I've recently felt the challenge to be less inhibited and more imaginative. Your post is another little encouragement down that road.
It'd be interesting to talk about what the roles of rules are: obviously, we can't throw away the “societal guidelines and rules” altogether. Nathaniel & Lucia were able to play in the way they did in part because–perhaps unknown to them–they lived in a household of safety, care, and love…fully confident in their parents' provision, even if they couldn't express–or even recognize–it themselves.
Still, when do these rules become restrictive, rather than liberating?
Good stuff, my friend. Good stuff.
sorry, but i got to say that im not a believer in the thought that reading something is going to effect your unborn child. while an unborn child is able to recognize a voice, they have no way of understanding or comprehending the words that are around him/her. music is something that i belive is influential, but i wouldnt say movies or books. i love reading romantic books and my favorite movie genre is horror. good luck
